Vision - A monkey with a keyboard
I had a very long post written about the democratic nomination process. But I deleted it. Why you might ask? Well I finally have watched both Senator Clinton's and Senator Obama's respective speeches from Tuesday.

I just don't have anything to add to that . On the one hand you have someone talking about themselves and what only they can do for us. On the other hand you have someone actively reaching out to people telling them that they can make a difference. The former uses voters as bargaining chips, that latter tries to bring voters together.

The big difference is character and integrity. Obama has it in spades, Clinton has to look both words up in the dictionary. The speeches speak for themselves.

That actually keeps being a Thing between Jesse's parents and me.

His mother is *positive* we'd elect a black man before a woman of any creed on the sheer basis that America is just that terrified of a woman President. And I'm like "well, if the woman kind of SUCKS, sure...."

She is so totally a part of the egocentric, boomer, "me" generation.

The world would be so much better, if you'd just listen to me. I am wonderful. I can solve all your problems. You biggest problem is that you're not doing what I tell you to do. Me, me, me, me, me, me.

Well, she'll have plenty of time to sit and think about herself.
